I went to the University Washington - Seattle for my bachelor's degree in comprehensive physics. I studied a lot of statistics and advanced math as part of this program. I discovered mentoring through study groups and working with peers to help them understand course material, which also helped solidify my own understanding. I worked for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration after I graduated. I also assisted in high school math class. I like to help students learn problem-solving and critical thinking skills as opposed to giving away answers. I believe that this is the best path to long-term success for my students. I can tutor algebra, calculus, physics, geometry, physical sciences, pre-calculus, pre-algebra, trigonometry, ACT prep, and others. In my free time, I like to Freebord, play volleyball, and play ultimate Frisbee.
